As women, we are accustomed to managing numerous responsibilities all at once, which at times while empowering may also put a lot of strain on us. We are used to multi-tasking and juggling a lot, which can often negatively impact us emotionally, mentally, and physically.

In this group, I will be sharing tools to support women in managing challenges of everyday life, especially those that contribute to depression and anxiety. I will be sharing supportive tools from therapeutic orientations such as cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy to help decrease negative emotions and thoughts being experienced.

Before I became Dr. Hardy, I was a small-town girl born and raised in the Hoosier state of Indiana. I received my BA in psychology in 2008 from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and remained at Indiana University to complete a doctoral program in counseling psychology. I moved to Dallas, Texas, in 2015 and currently live there with my husband and new baby girl. Over the years, I have enjoyed working with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families with a wide- variety of concerns involving identity development and racial identity development, relationship/familial concerns and conflict, trauma, depression, major life transitions, and stress management. With that said, I have a particular interest in these areas, as they pertain to women's lives. I believe in empowering women and guiding them toward discovering their inner strength and recognizing their full potential. I take a compassionate and attentive approach using evidence-based tools.
