Community Guidelines

This group is here to be a safe, supportive place for anyone impacted by sexual abuse, violence, exploitation, or sex trafficking. We want everyone to feel seen, heard, and respected. To keep this community healthy, we ask that everyone follows these guidelines:

Safety First

  • This is a judgment-free zone. Everyone’s story looks different. We all heal at our own pace.
  • Please bear in mind that some topics may be graphic or overly triggering. It’s okay to step back if something feels too heavy.
  • If you’re in immediate danger or thinking of harming yourself, please reach out to emergency services or hotlines, you deserve real-time help and safety.

Respect Each Other

  • Listen with care, and respond with kindness. Sometimes, people just need to be heard—not fixed.
  • No shaming, blaming, or minimizing someone’s experiences—whether it’s sexual abuse, violence, or trafficking. We all heal at our own pace.
  • Keep personal conflicts out of this space. If disagreements arise, please reach out to moderator or you can email support@mentalhappy.com

Privacy Matters

  • What’s shared here, stays here. Do not share other members’ stories outside the group.
  • Please don’t pressure anyone to share more than they’re comfortable with. Everyone is in charge of their own boundaries.

Posting and Sharing

  • You’re welcome to share resources, quotes, coping tips, or personal reflections that support healing.
  • Avoid posting anything overly graphic, hateful, or aggressive. Let’s keep this space gentle and safe.
  • If you share outside materials (like articles, books, or podcasts), make sure they’re trauma-informed and respectful.

Supporting Ourselves

  • Taking care of yourself comes first.
  • If a post or comment bothers you, reach out to a moderator.
