DESCRIPTION

cover

Grief is not something we move on from — it’s something we learn to carry. Let’s Hold Hands is a gentle, judgment-free support space for anyone coping with loss — whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a relationship, health, or a version of life that once felt certain.

Here, we don’t rush healing. We gather to hold space for each other — to cry, to share, to listen, and to grow together. You’ll gain comfort, understanding, and tools to navigate grief at your own pace.

This is a safe place to just be. You don’t have to be strong here — you just have to show up. And we’ll hold your hand through it.

Community Guidelines

🌱 Group Guidelines for Let’s Hold Hands

A grief and loss support space

1. What’s shared here, stays here.

• This is a confidential space. Please respect everyone’s privacy. No screenshots, recordings, or sharing of personal stories outside the group.

2. Listen to understand, not to fix.

• We don’t always need advice — just someone to hear us. Offer empathy over solutions.

3. Speak from the “I” place.

• Share your own experiences. Avoid making general statements about how others “should” feel or grieve.

4. No judgment. No shame.

• Everyone grieves differently. There is no “right” way to feel. We welcome tears, silence, laughter, or anger — all emotions are valid here.

5. Kindness over correction.

• If someone says something that hurts or feels off, we will respond with care and clarity, not criticism.

6. No hate speech, bullying, or discrimination.

• This includes racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or religious intolerance. It will not be tolerated.

7. This is not therapy.

• We are a peer support group, not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you need immediate help, please reach out to a licensed therapist or crisis support line.

8. One voice at a time.

• Let everyone be heard. Please avoid interrupting, talking over, or dominating the conversation.

9. Take what you need, leave what you don’t.

• Not every story will resonate. That’s okay. Take the parts that comfort you and let the rest go.

10. Be gentle with yourself and others.

• Come as you are. Stay as long as you need. This space is for holding hearts, not perfect answers.
