This bereavement group is a supportive and psychoeducational space designed to help individuals navigate grief, loss, and life transitions with compassion, understanding, and connection. The group facilitator brings many years of experience as a hospice social worker, supporting individuals and families through end-of-life care, grief, and healing. They have also facilitated grief and loss workshops throughout the community and incorporate the healing and reflective benefits of music therapy into their work when appropriate.
At Kaafi Counseling, we are inspired to facilitate this group because grief can often feel isolating, confusing, and overwhelming. We believe healing is strengthened through education, shared support, and safe community connection. Our goal is to provide participants with emotional support, practical coping tools, grief education, and a compassionate environment where they feel seen, supported, and not alone in their journey.
