DESCRIPTION

The Black Healing and Mental Health is a non-judgmental expert-led supportive community dedicated to black healing and mental health. We provide a safe and inclusive space for individuals who identify as black to come together, share experiences, and support one another in their journey toward well-being and personal growth. This group addresses the black community's unique challenges, such as racial trauma and the intersection of mental health and cultural identity. Our group will cover many topics, including self-care, building support networks, accessing mental health resources, etc.

In this group, we will discuss the following:

●        Self-care and Self-compassion
●        Identity and Cultural Empowerment
●        Healing from Trauma
●        Mental Health and Stigma/Navigating mental health services
●        Coping with Racism and Discrimination
●        Relationships and Communication
●        Building Supportive Networks
●        Healing through Art and Creativity
●        Empowerment and Activism

Through discussion, educational resources, and healing practices, we aim to foster empowerment, resilience, and a sense of belonging through validation and community support. Join us to embark on a transformative path towards healing, growth, and empowerment within a community that understands and uplifts Black experiences.
