About the Group

Living with anxiety can feel overwhelming, isolating, and exhausting. This Anxiety Support Group is a safe and welcoming space where individuals can connect with others who truly understand. Our focus is on building resilience, learning practical coping strategies, and setting healthy boundaries to reduce anxiety’s impact on daily life.

Through guided discussions, boundary-setting exercises, and shared techniques for managing anxious thoughts, we aim to:

Provide peer support in a judgment-free space

Help members develop effective coping skills for anxiety

Teach boundary-setting techniques to reduce stress and prevent burnout

Offer a sense of connection and community to break the cycle of isolation

Encourage self-empowerment by understanding and managing anxiety triggers

This group is not a substitute for professional therapy or medical care but serves as an additional layer of support. For those needing individualized treatment, we strongly encourage seeking therapy alongside group participation.

If you're looking for a structured yet compassionate space to explore anxiety management, improve emotional boundaries, and gain support from others on a similar journey, we invite you to join us. You don’t have to face anxiety alone—we’re in this together. 💙

Group Guidelines & Expectations

To ensure a safe, respectful, and productive experience for all members, please review and adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Confidentiality is Key – What is shared in the group stays in the group. Respect the privacy of others.
  2. This is a Support Group, Not a Substitute for Therapy – This group is designed for peer support and shared experiences, not as a replacement for professional mental health care, diagnosis, or medical treatment.
  3. Respect for All Members – Listen actively, avoid interrupting, and offer support without judgment. Everyone’s experience is valid.
  4. No Advice-Giving Unless Asked – We encourage sharing personal experiences rather than providing direct advice. What works for one person may not work for another.
  5. Trigger Awareness – Be mindful of the language and details shared to avoid triggering others. If a topic becomes overwhelming, members are encouraged to step away as needed.
  6. This Group is Not for Crisis Situations – If you are in crisis, feeling suicidal, or experiencing severe distress, please reach out to a licensed therapist, emergency services, or a crisis hotline for immediate support.
  7. No Hate Speech or Discrimination – We are an inclusive space where all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs are respected.
  8. Attendance & Participation – Consistency helps build trust, but participation is always voluntary. Share when you feel comfortable.
  9. This Group is Not for Individuals with Personality Disorders, Mood Disorders, or Depression – If you experience ongoing mental health concerns beyond anxiety, we strongly encourage seeking individual therapy for more specialized care.
